This content was made using Photoshop, Piksel, Procreate, and Blender and compiled in After Effects. The final video clip at the end was part of a larger projection piece that was mapped onto the Doty Fine Arts Building for the AET 2024 Student Showcase, Inside Out.

 

The goal of Inside Out was to show the public what AET students do. I decided that it would be interesting to make the building look like an arcade machine, as we are mostly known as a video design major. However, AET encompasses many other disciplines that are often overlooked. So, I chose to make Bevo, our mascot, break out of the arcade machine, symbolizing us breaking that stereotype. The rest of the show highlights the other disciplines and includes quotes from AET students to better illustrate what our major is about.
